The NFL Upset the Celebrities

Filed under: Sports — admin @ 11:13 am

People were gloating at each other the other when the New York Giants beat the New England Patriots. So many people had decided already that the New England Patriots were the top dogs, while the New York Giants would remain the underdog. Well, did they get a big surprise in the end. The Giants upset the Patriots for a 17-14 win. Nobody could have predicted the upset this game would cause. Everyone just knew the Patriots would win.

Several celebrities were polled to see who they thought the best team was going to be this year. Most people went with the Patriots. Some did not and that is a very distinguished list. Some people on that list include the Director of the CIA, Joyce Brothers, Arnold Palmer, Dierks Bently, Russell Johnsn (Professor from Gilligan’s Island), Marlee Matlin, Ed Asner, and Shaquille O’Neal. Everyone on this list said it was the Giant’s year. And of course, they were right much to the chagrin of others.

Another thing people have complained about is the long wait to September when it all starts again. They want the teams to get started now and get back in action. They do need a rest from all the hard playing they have done in the last several months. We will have to be patient and know they will return in the fall.

He was supposed to be arraigned last week. He simply didn’t have enough money to cover the check in his bank account. He was indicted of the charge in December.

The New York Knicks are hoping to bring a win to the board when they faced off against the Chicago Bulls. It was the end of a road trip where they had played three games already.
