Cardinals 2008 Television Schedule Announced

Filed under: St. Louis Cardinals — admin @ 5:10 am

The St. Louis Cardinals have announced their  schedule for the 2008 season. FSN Midwest and KSDK NewsChannel 5 will  serve as television partners of the team. FSN Midwest will carry 130 regular season games.

Minnesota and March 26 vs. Baltimore. FSN Midwest will start its regular season games with the network’s one-hour pre and postgame Cardinals Live shows. The schedule of FSN Midwest telecasts in high definition has not yet been determined. KSDK NewsChannel 5 will show 20 regular season Cardinals games. Nineteen of those games will be Sunday afternoon telecasts.

Nine games are  scheduled to be carried as part of Major League Baseball’s national television package.  Two games against the Chicago Cubs at the end of September presently do not have a television outlet. And One of the games will not be televised because the April 12 game at San Francisco has a start time that conflicts with the FOX Saturday Baseball exclusivity window.
